Photo Friday: The Money Shot!

Yep - Here is where all of our money went.  Okay, a drop in the bucket compared to the cost of the doctor's office, but still quite a bit of money.  I'm happy because the pharmacy initially told me that they ordered 9 cartridges of Follistim - and it looked like a 7 on the form from the RE's office to me, and when the meds actually arrived, there were only 7 - so that lowered the cost by quite a bit.  Only $2,200.12.

Anyway, here's the picture of everything unpacked from the box.

And the picture of everything that didn't need to go in the fridge with Jakobe's insulin all packed up into a shoe box so that I could put it in the closet.

So anyway, there you go. The only other thing I have to complain about is that apparently my body isn't cooperating.  It's grumpy with me right now and has gone all spotty and crampy.  Now though, I need to get to bed, so that I can get up earlyish to shower and shave before my massage tomorrow.  Yay! massage - any excuse for a massage is a good excuse.

Photo Friday - a little Belated: Fun With Flowers

I told this to publish Friday morning... but apparently, it didn't!

These are some old but good ones that I got to look at after I finally got my new workstation/desk all set up upstairs this week.  I'm actually using the computer a lot more with a place that's all my own and not down in the "man cave" where I felt like I was intruding.

Photo Friday: Travel

Not heading out to take new pictures this week - although you may be inundated after Jakobe and I got on vacation to the coast for the week of the 14th (I can't wait - it's going to be awesome!).  Instead, you get some interesting pictures that I took on trips last summer - and one extra!

Tis is from our first camping trip together - we went out for a drive in Mountains one of the days, and I took this picture while driving on a very unused dirt road in the middle of nowhere, North Idaho.
Driving back from my Birthday Weekend in McCall, Idaho last year.  We're going back there for a weekend in October this year - using it as a base to go fishing for Chinook.

Finally - a picture of me from the last time I went to Mount St. Helens (September 2005).  It was a great way to end a pretty rough weekend, and even though our drive back from Portland took 16 hours instead of 8 it was well worth it.

Photo Friday: Unplug

Nope, no electrical appliances, and no pictures of me at the beach.  Instead These are from a find on our camping trip last weekend.  This house was about as unplugged as it could get!

I had to make this black and white - it just called for it.  Anyway, the inside of the house was a
complete shambles.  The outside wasn't much better, but it was a heck of a lot prettier,
There were little white flowers everywhere, I stepped in a thistle, and there was rhubarb
growing right under the windows.  At some point the house was two stories, or at
least had a loft.

Flowers and a VW full of bullet holes and rust.  What a combo.
What made them abandon it?  Did they hit a wall, and it was just too much? Were they unprepared for what they were getting into?  Did they suffer some sort of unforeseen calamity?

Anyway, go visit the others here.
